• The American Idol invasion continues. Clay Aiken is joining the cast of "Spamalot" on 18 January 2008. I'm not sure he has the comic timing or sense of humor to portray Sir Robin, but hey, he might surprise us all. Claymates, don't bother writing to protest.


• The 01 November episode of the ABC comedy "Ugly Betty" entitled "Something Wicked this way comes" will feature the Los Angeles production of Wicked. Eden Espinosa is the green girl and the lovely and talented Megan Hilty is the good witch Glinda.


• Tony Award nominee Raul Esparza has a recurring role on the new ABC series Pushing Daisies. His first episode airs tomorrow 17 October. He will portray Alfredo Aldarisio, a traveling homeopathic-antidepressant salesman. Paul Reuben was originally cast for this role.


• Fanadus have reason to rejoice! The cast of "Xanadu" will start recording the album on 29 October. The CD will be available the first week of December on PS Classics , the musical's website or the Helen Hayes Theatre. It will arrive in stores 08 January 2008.
