Well I for one was shocked and surprised by JK Rowling's outing of Albus Dumbledore. Being the great wizard that he was, I just assumed he had renounced the ways of the world. (Although I thought he could have had a thing with Madame Rosmerta.) Now I REALLY have to re-read the books. Perhaps the fabulous outfits, twinkly blue eyes, tall and thin figure, his love for knitting patterns and music should have clued me in. I do wonder why JK waited until now to make this revelation about the headmaster. Of course now, she's given Christian conservatives more reason to burn the books.
