This isn't a song from "Wicked" but her rendition of "Nobody's side" from "Chess" has got to be my favorite Julia Murney performance ever. I was so overwhelmed by seeing her Elphaba up close and personal last Saturday. Like the big geek that I am, I told her at the stage door afterwards that she was the best actress ever. She said thank you and possibly patted me on the arm, I'm not so sure I was kinda out of it at that point. Stagedooring is not for the fainthearted. I myself get so nervous and star-struck that I say the dorkiest things. Anyway, I wish Julia well as she leaves Oz, hopefully for "greener" pastures :)
I was overwhelmed as well with her performance last saturday. Heck, i still feel Elphaba's pain from Julia's I'm Not That Girl that night. And the tears....the tears in her eyes that night during DG...heartbreaking! While watching the show I kept saying to myself...I wanna remember this moment! LOL!
