Last Play at Shea

The New York Mets announced last week that Billy Joel will be the last artist to perform at Shea Stadium. The concert, entitled "Last Play at Shea", will be on 16 July. The new Citi Field stadium is scheduled to open during the 2009 season. (On a personal note, I dislike this trend of naming sports arenas for corporations. I'd hate to see ballparks formerly known as Fenway Park or Wrigley Field.)
