Broadway Tails

Ever wondered about Sandy, Annie's dog? Or Bruiser, the chihuahua from Legally Blonde? Then Bill Berloni has written the book for you, detailing how he rescues animals and trains them for the theatre! In Broadway Tails: Heartfelt Stories of Rescued Dogs who became Showbiz Stars, he tells the stories of these animals. He will launch the book today at the Public Theater, from 6 to 8 PM. Fellow animal lover Bernadette Peters will be on hand for the festivities, and some canine friends. Book sales will benefit the Humane Society of New York.
