It was heartbreaking to see Sen. Obama speak about his beloved grandmother Madelyn "Toot" Dunham at a rally last night. She passed away before seeing the grandson she raised perhaps (hopefully) become the first black president of the United States.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the senator and his family during this most difficult of times. May Mrs. Dunham rest in peace.
