Dixie Carter passed away this weekend at age 70. She had been battling endometrial cancer. I loved the ground-breaking Designing Women with its strong female characters we could all emulate. Julia Sugarbaker was my favorite.
Condolences to Hal Holbrook, the rest of her family, friends and fans. Rest in peace Ms. Carter!
