Yes I know it's another Downton Abbey post! It's just because it's so brilliant people need to see it. Here's a collection of Maggie Smith's zingers as the Dowager Countess in Downton Abbey courtesy of NY Magazine. It's a collection that fans of the show should relish and quote over and over for it's unexpected wit.
Above, is a scene where her character encounters the era of modernism in the form of a swivel chair. This scene made me chuckle while watching the episode.
