Marcia Wallace, the voice of Edna Krabappel on
The Simpsons, passed away Friday night in Los Angeles from complications of pneumonia. She had been battling breast cancer for 30 years. The show's executive producer Al Jean said they her character will retire from Springfield Elementary School.
