The Tale of Two Elphies

Young composer Scott Alan is back in the studio recording his new album. He previously wrote the musical Piece (which has yet to debut) and is the creator of Monday Nights, New Voices, a cabaret series featuring new talents in NYC. His first cd is called Dreaming Wide Awake and features Shoshana Bean, Liz Callaway, Cheyenne Jackson to name a few.

In the video above, he goes to the studio with The Pirate Queen's Hadley Fraser (Oh I think I see Tom Kitt too) and two Elphabas: Lisa Brescia (Elphaba Standby on Broadway and just recently, Elphaba in Chicago) and Julia Murney. The video is quite amusing!
