Emmys


The Emmy nominations were announced this morning. I'll just give a quick run-down for the ones I'm especially happy for: Matthew Fox and Lost, Conan O'Brien's Tonight Show, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, My Life on the D-List, and The Colbert Report. Modern Family and its stars Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Ty Burrell, Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen are all in. Our favorite geek Sheldon Jim Parsons from The Big Bang Theory is now a 2-time Emmy nominee. The Amazing Race is again in the running for Best Reality-Competition Program. There's an SNL showdown in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series:Amy Poehler v.Tina Fey. Kristen Wiig is a nominee for Supporting Actress in a Comedy while Betty White also got honored for her SNL hosting stint.

Glee
, Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, and Matthew Morrison got nods. Kristin Chenoweth (Glee), Jane Lynch(Two and a Half Men) and Elaine Stritch(30 Rock) got nominated for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series. For Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series: Neil Patrick Harris(Glee), Jon Hamm (30 Rock), Mike O Malley (Glee).
