Harry Potter and the Stage Debut

News of J.K. Rowling working on a Harry Potter prequel play had Potterheads going crazy. Well, we all know that anything related to Rowling or Harry Potter is bound to do that. But this play is definitely going to add a new dimension to the Harry Potter canon. It will focus on Harry's life before he discovered the Wizarding world and entered Hogwarts

However, Rowling will not be writing the play itself. Instead, she is co-producing it with Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender. The production is currently looking for a writer (can Potterheads apply?) and a director, and the play is expected to premiere in 2015 in the U.K.

We're still holding our breaths for a prequel featuring the Marauders and Lily Evans!
